Every week I find something new that makes me fall in love with Maryland all over again — and this week’s lineup is so good. (Scroll to bottom)
But before we jump in, I have to tell you about a dating mixer I went to in D.C. with my best friend. Yes, I’m married — but this event was all about pitching your single friends! 😂 I even made a PowerPoint presentation to “sell” her to the crowd, and it was such a hit.
It was honestly so much fun that I’m seriously thinking about hosting one of these events right here in Maryland. Would you come to something like that? 👀

Extra-Ordinary Birthday’s
One of my favorite organizations in Maryland is Extra-Ordinary Birthdays.
Have you ever thought about kids who are unhoused getting to celebrate their birthday party? This organization makes it so children can celebrate no matter what their housing situation may be. I am all about fun and think everyone deserves it and the number 1 fun is your birthday!
They are having a huge fun celebration on Oct 26th where your ticket costs go towards raising money to continue this initiative.
Last year was a great time so you definitely don’t want to miss it this year with the added adult experience.
1) Featured Event: Maryland Home & Garden Show (Oct 17-19). I’ll be there in person on the 17th, emceeing with Brian & Mika from 100 Day Dream Home — would love to say hi if you drop by!
2) Spooky Fun - Grab up your bravest friends and see if you can be scared at Bennett’s Curse (indoors) or Creepywoods (in the woods)

3) Adult Fun - When’s the last time you had an adult night? Wonderfly Arena is having them every Thursday night. Get your friends and go have a blast or go alone and meet friends there!
4) Stop Shaving - I got tired of shaving and decided to try Smooth DMV to get rid of this hair. Not only did it not hurt but the first session was FREE. With three locations near you can go try. Love their low cost transparent pricing!
