Mother's Day & Mini Golf Week 3 Events in Maryland & DC

Hey Memory Makers!

Happy Mother’s Day to all the the women who are moms.

Mother’s Day can be complicated for many as we all have different relationships with mothers.

Being someone who longed to conceive and finally became a mother through IVF, it was hard for a few years when I couldn’t get pregnant but wanted children.

From someone who has had a complicated relationship with their mother more than my fair share over many years.

Then being someone who lost their mom 10 years ago unexpectedly in her sleep, I am not mother less. Mother’s day for me as a motherless child can be tough even though I am a mother myself, I am reminded that my mom never got to meet my children and enjoy being a grandmother or that she isn’t here to share this day with her.

I am grateful to have an amazing Mother-In-Law, Yvonne, who you see often in my videos and treats me kind but even so, nothing is like having your own mother.

Whatever your situation with Mother’s day know that you are loved and I am happy you are apart of my community. Happy Mother’s Day or Happy Sunday!

I went to King Spa for the first time and wow! I was impressed with all the spa rooms and the heated pool. If you haven't seen the video, here it is below.

Beware: I hear it’s best to go on a weekday and don’t do a holiday or weekend as it’s super crowded. I went on a weekday after work and enjoyed the vibes at night.

Midnight Mini Golf is one of our favorite events of the summer. It starts back this Friday but due to the weather, here are the upcoming dates so you can go before they sell out. For only $15/pp this is a great experience.
