This weekend we lose an hour of sleep… but gain an extra hour of sunlight.
I have a love-hate relationship with Daylight Saving Time.
Losing sleep? Hate it.
Longer evenings and warmer weather coming? I’ll take that trade.
Which also means we’re officially entering “let’s get out of the house” season — so I rounded up a few things happening locally plus some events you might want to mark on your calendar before they sell out.
Quick Local Updates
• IPIC Bethesda is closing – They filed bankruptcy and the location will close April 28. If you want one last movie in those recliners, now’s the time.
• Sandbox VR is opening March 27th at the Baltimore Peninsula. If you’ve never tried it, imagine stepping inside a video game with your friends. They have Squid Game too! Stay tuned as I will be dropping a 50% off discount for those who want to visit first when it opens!
A personal win I wanted to share
Last week was a huge moment for me — one that reminded me why I keep showing up here and sharing things to do around Maryland.
Three years ago when I started this page, I had just been laid off and was going through bankruptcy after a failed house flip.
Around that same time the new Great Wolf Lodge in Maryland opened. I spent my own money to go when they opened and made a video that ended up getting over 1 million views.
But after that… nothing happened.
No invite. No partnership. Nothing.
For a while I thought maybe my content just wasn’t good enough for the brand side.
So I kept going. I kept showing up. And I kept sharing.
And this week something really special happened.
Great Wolf Lodge invited me to be one of their ambassadors.
It felt like a full-circle moment and I wanted to share it with you because honestly… none of this happens without you reading these emails, watching the videos, and sharing things with your friends.
So thank you ❤️

September 19th Charm City Live - September 19th (Free concert in front of the Mayors office)
