Somehow we blinked and boom—summer is basically here, and with it comes a calendar full of things to do. Honestly, I tried to narrow the list down for you… and failed. Miserably. There’s just too much fun to fit into one neat little roundup—especially with Father’s Day, Juneteenth, and adult events all fighting for attention!

Before we dive into the events, I gotta take a second to celebrate something with you. I just hit over 200K followers on Instagram—what?! I’m 25 months into this content creator journey (yes, I’m counting like it’s a toddler), and it still feels surreal. I stay up way too late researching events, squeeze in filming sessions after work, juggle parenting while editing, and somehow still find time to hunt down hidden gems just for you. And every comment, share, and message telling me you tried something I posted? That’s the fuel that keeps me going. So thank you. Seriously.

Now, real talk—after two years, I’ve finally figured out what this whole thing is really about. It’s not just about events. It’s about proving that having kids doesn’t cancel your fun card. Whether it's a date night, a spa with friends, a kiddie disco, or fun trip you didn’t know you needed—I'm showing up to say: you can still live it up. I’m not just “Mom.” I’m Lisa, and I’m out here having a good time—and I want you to do the same

Recap: Last week I got over my fear and celebrated our anniversary by riding on a helicopter over Baltimore City. It was an amazing experience and it wasn’t shaky or gave us that sour stomach feeling. I would highly recommend everyone trying if you can as rates start as low as $55/pp!
