July is halfway over and there are a ton of events coming up. This summer is the season of events and rain….try to ignore the rain and get out for some fun.

Last week I had my friends from Texas visit and we enjoyed the Carnival parade and checked out this new bar called Root City. It’s a non-alcoholic bar with welcoming vibes and a fun game room. They have karaoke, trivia and open mic nights throughout the week so I plan to go back and check out one of those events.

I really loved the space and hanging out with friends in a no pressure type of setting where we played cards and laughed but I didn’t have to clean up or provide any food or drinks. If you want to see the video recap check it out here.

This weekend is the Kidz Bop concert and will be my daughters first official concert, so wish us luck! I can’t wait to share that recap soon!
