April 2 - April 8, 2026

This Week You Should:

  • Go to an adult Easter egg hunt (yes… for us 😏)

  • Check out this new slime spot at Annapolis Mall

  • Catch the cherry blossoms before they’re gone

  • Free Movies at Pikes Studio Cinema

Hey Locals! Welcome to the Locals List! 👋🏽

Let’s be real…half the time we say “there’s nothing to do,” it’s really because we just don’t know where to go.

That’s exactly why I send this list every week—so you don’t have to think, search, or scroll for hours.

Just open this, pick something, and go.

April is already packed with events, so if you’ve been saying “we need to get out more”… this is your sign.

And Happy Easter weekend to everyone—whether you’re celebrating that Jesus has risen (I do), the Easter bunny (we do too 😅), or just getting together for a good meal with family, I have you have a fantastic weekend.

Here’s what’s actually worth leaving the house for this weekend:

Slime Co is now open in Annapolis Mall

I don’t know about you, but slime is a no in my house 😅
So when I found out there’s a place where kids can make and play with it somewhere else… we went immediately.

For $21.99, you get to create your own slime—pick your texture, color, glitter, charms, all of it.

And honestly?
Even though we went for the kids… I had a good time too. It’s weirdly relaxing.

Visit Fort McHenry this Week

Everyone talks about going to DC for cherry blossoms…
but you can see them right here in Baltimore—and they’re beautiful right now.

Fort McHenry has them on full display, and they just bloomed—so you’ve got about a week or two to catch them.

It’s free to walk the grounds, but if you have time, I’d check out the paid side too. That’s where you’ll actually learn the history (Star-Spangled Banner level history). ($15 for adults, kids 15 & under are free)
