My heart is heavy for the city of DC. Once the place of uniqueness, history and fun is looking like a war zone. The Smithsonians are being told to change art as it’s said they have too much sad history and we need to show positive history only. All the enforcement, roadblocks, and extra restrictions make me not want to even visit.

I have am having a hard time knowing if I should share DC events, as many are small businesses who planned these activities well before all of this happened and I don’t want them to suffer. Yet, I don’t want anyone to lose their freedom dealing with all of this so I included a few DC events in case you live in or near the area.

I pulled together plenty of fun things happening in Maryland so you can still enjoy your weekend without the stress or worry. Be safe out here, y’all—and go make some good memories!
