August
Doesn’t it seem like summer is ending soon? Although Summer doesn’t end officially until September 22nd, August always seems like the last month of Summer for me. Maybe it’s because I see Back to School commercials and only one more major holiday left in Summer. I want you to make the most of it either way so below I have a good amount of ideas below for you.
National Night Out is back on August 5th. This is when police departments across the nation host community events in neighborhoods to promote community policing. Most are filled with free activities for kids and adults alike so a good way to enjoy free fun on a week night.
Thanks to everyone who entered the raffle for UniverSoul Circus last week. Here are the 5 that won from the newsletter. Congratulations!

Last week I dropped a poll about my favorite wings being Honey Lemon Pepper and it seems like you agree as majority of you said Lemon Pepper wings are your favorite too!

August Speaking Spotlight
I’d love for you to come see me speak on my first in-person panel about the Weight of Influence - something I know well!
I shared with you all that I wanted to start speaking in public and sharing my knowledge/thoughts with the world and ya’ll heard me loud and clear.
Ohhh and It’s FREE!
Description from the The Revival:
This month, The Remedy invites you into a deeper conversation about the emotional toll of living in an always-on, always-watching society. We’re talking about the weight of influence and how to protect your peace while navigating it all.
Together we'll explore questions like:
How do we share our stories without feeling exposed or consumed?
Where’s the line between openness and oversharing?
How do we maintain authenticity while setting boundaries?
And how do we stay grounded and whole in a world that rewards image over intimacy?
This session is about more than social media it’s about the human experience behind the screen. Together, we’ll reflect on how to stay true to ourselves, even as the world watches. We’ll explore how to reclaim our calm, reset our priorities, and cultivate a sense of safety within ourselves. Because in the end, your peace isn’t a performance. It’s a necessity.

Time for Fun!
This is a new section where I ask a question and each week one of you will win! Guess the correct answer and be entered in to win coffee or breakfast from Dunkin’ Donuts on me!
Question: Which of these Maryland spots lets you spend the night inside?
I will share the correct answer and winner next week!
